It's great to be here and have the chance to introduce myself. My name is Eva, and I'm the founder and creator of PAGi. I wanted to share my story with you because I hope it can inspire others to take the leap and pursue their dreams.
Just a few years ago, I was working for someone else and feeling unfulfilled. I started to wonder if there was a way for me to transition to working for myself and have a side hustle that was successful. So, I began by selling some of my personal items on Facebook and was pleasantly surprised when I made Rp 1M! That success inspired me to take the next step and try selling other goods, like tote bags, on social media. It was a challenging time, and I admit that there were moments when I wondered if entrepreneurship was for me.
But with the help of my mentor, partner, lover, and now husband, who even took photos for my website, I kept pushing forward. It was a long journey, including buying a domain, setting up a website, and investing in ad campaigns and subscriptions. However, with every penny earned from my hard work, I felt rewarded, encouraged, uplifted, and liberated.
I want to emphasize that entrepreneurship is tough, and it requires a lot of time, money, resources, and even your social life. However, every single penny you earn is worth it, and the rewards of being your boss are incredible. As a female entrepreneur, I encourage you to take calculated risks and embark on this adventure. Find a mentor, seek help from government programs and grants, and start taking baby steps towards your dream. You don't need to quit your job right away; you can transition into this field and gradually work towards building a solid foundation.
It's been seven years since I started PAGi, and it's now a teenager that pays the bills and supports me financially. I'm excited to see where this journey will take me, and I hope my story inspires you to pursue your dreams.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and warmest regards!
